You can help make KDH a cleaner and brighter place by joining your neighbors at our annual Trash Attack! event.

Trash Attack! is a community clean-up event, where volunteers head out across Town to "attack" the trash: beach, soundside, or anywhere in between. The event will kick-off at Aviation Park, where participants will receive gloves, grabbers, and trash bags.

9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

POSTER CONTEST:

Attn: K-12 First Flight Students/KDH Residents:

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s poster contest theme is: Honoring Our Past, Protecting Our Future.

Design a poster that shows how keeping our Town clean is part of being a good citizen, and how taking action can pave the way for a brighter future and a healthier environment. 

Submit posters at the Administration Department at Town Hall by 4:00 p.m. on March 20, 2026.

PRIZES AWARDED FOR 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACE! Posters may also be featured on a KDH trash truck or in other public places around Town.
