NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND PUBLIC FORUM

 

 

            NOTICE is hereby given that on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. the Kill Devil Hills Board of Commissioners will hold its second regular meeting of the month.  This live, in-person meeting will be held in the Meeting Room at the Administration Building, 102 Town Hall Drive, off Colington Road.  Limited seating will be available.  Social distancing and wearing masks will be required of all who attend this meeting

            Meeting materials are available at https://www.kdhnc.com/899/April-28-2021-Board-of-Commissioners-Mee.   A printed packet is available for public inspection in the Town Clerk’s Office, Administration Department, 102 Town Hall Drive, off Colington Road.  Please contact Town Hall at 252-449-5300 to schedule an inspection time.   Live-streaming will be on the KDH Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/townofkdh/

            Written comments for Public Comment can be emailed to: info@kdhnc.com. Comments must include your name and address and are limited to three minutes for individuals, and five minutes when speaking for a group.

2.         Budget Amendments

A.        #21 - to appropriate funds for beach sand fencing available from Dare County.

B.        #22 – to appropriate funds for the addition of a full-time Equipment Operator for 

the Streets Department and a full-time Facility Maintenance Specialist allocated 50% to Buildings and Grounds and 50% to Solid Waste

            C.       #23 - to record grant funds awarded by the NC Department of Environmental Quality to be used for sediment analysis in the 2022 Beach Nourishment construction project.
