Notice of Worksession and Public Hearing on Recommended Budget
On Monday, June 13, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. the KDH Board of Commissioners will hold a worksession and a public hearing to receive public comment, both written and oral, regarding the Town Manager's Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2022/2023.

Submit your comments on the Recommended Budget

The Budget Portal will remain open until June 13th and will close at Noon. Your comments will be forwarded to the BOC as it reviews the Town Manager’s Recommended Budget and considers adoption.

Volunteer Firefighters Needed in KDH

The Kill Devil Hills Fire Department is looking for volunteer firefighters to join its team. The minimum age to join is 18. They provide training, uniforms and equipment. If you are interested in doing something rewarding for our community, please give them a call at 252-480-4060 (M-F, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.).

It’s a Paw-ty at Mary’s Paws Park!

The Town of Kill Devil Hills is holding a celebration on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at our dog park, Mary’s Paws Park, located at 103 Veterans Drive. This is a FREE event and is open to the public and their dogs.

The event will feature:

Ice cream treats for pups and people
Photo station for pictures with your pup
Paws Park shirts – special sale only $10!
Rabies vaccines
KDH Dog licenses
Doggie Swag Bags!
ADOPTABLE DOGS!
Local shelters & rescues

Mulch is available at our Dry Trash Drop Off and Recycle Center (DTDC) and at Aviation Park. Please help yourself to what you need. The DTDC is located at 701 Bermuda Bay Boulevard. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Aviation Park is located at 103 Veterans Drive. Stop by anytime!
