Christmas Tree Collection

The Town of Kill Devil Hills will be collecting natural Christmas trees beginning on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.  Please remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights, and other non organic items from your tree. Place your tree in the right of way adjacent to your property and ensure that it is away from all other objects. No artificial trees or other bulk trash items will be collected. Trees must be placed in the right of way no later than Tuesday, January 14, 2020

Please contact the Public Services office at 252-480-4080 for additional information about the Town’s annual Christmas tree collection.

Blood Drive - Give blood, save a life

Blood Drive Scheduled for 1/3/20

The KDH Police Department is hosting a blood drive on Friday, January 3, 2020, from 10-2 p.m. The blood drive will be held at the KDH Town Hall,102 Town Hall Drive, Kill Devil Hills, off Colington Road.

Temporary Road Closure

Temporary Road Closure on 1/6/20

The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary road closure for through traffic on Town Hall Drive at the Colington Road intersection beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Monday January 6, 2020. The road closure is necessary for waterline pipe installation by Barnhill Contracting Company.
 
Access to Town Hall Drive will be accessible via Veterans Drive.
 
The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 4:00 p.m. (the same day) with Town Hall Drive being open to through traffic.

2020 KDH Dog Licenses

2020 KDH Dog Licenses Available

If you live in Kill Devil Hills, annual dog licenses are required for each canine over 4 months old that you own, renewable in January. The cost of a KDH dog license is $5.00 per dog (if not spayed/neutered) or $2.50 per dog (if spayed/neutered). 





Kill Devil Hills provides two options to acquire your dog license:

IN PERSON: Visit the cashier’s window on the second floor of Town Hall with the following:
• Completed Annual Dog License Registration form
• Proof of rabies vaccination
• Proof of spaying/neutering
• Cash, credit card, check or money order for applicable fee

BY MAIL: Mail the following to Town of Kill Devil Hills, PO Box 1719, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948:
• Completed Annual Dog License Registration form
• Proof of rabies vaccination
• Proof of spaying/neutering
• Check or money order for applicable fee
• Self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) so tag can be mailed to you.
