1. Can I swim when red flags are flying?

Red flags in Kill Devil Hills are precautionary. They alert swimmers to special hazard conditions but it is up to the individual to heed the warning.

2. How do I obtain a beach wheelchair?

Beach wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis for use within Town limits. Please call Ocean Rescue at 252-480-0080 to reserve a chair. Paperwork must be filled out with Ocean Rescue in the Ocean Bay Bath House located at 103 South Virginia Dare Trail.
