Mill and Fill Pavement Resurfacing

 on Ocean Acres Drive to Begin September 26 

Fred Smith Company, the contractor assigned to perform the upcoming mill and fill pavement resurfacing on Ocean Acres Drive, will begin work earlier than anticipated and earlier than outlined in last week’s Capital Project Update.

Work is now scheduled to begin tomorrow, Friday, September 26, and continue through Saturday, September 27.  Each day, work is anticipated to occur from approximately 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Burns Drive and Gunas Drive may be used as alternate routes to avoid the paving operation.

Motorists should expect lane closures and minor travel delays in the work zones. We kindly ask all travelers to exercise additional caution when navigating through the area and to follow any posted signage.
