Spring Bulk Trash CollectionThe Town of Kill Devil Hills Public Services Department will begin collection of APPROVED bulk trash items from IMPROVED properties within the Town of Kill Devil Hills on Monday, April 21, 2025, APPROVED items for collection should be placed in the Street right-of-way not later than Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Free Mulch Available!In addition to looking nice, there are many benefits to using mulch in your garden. Mulch nourishes the soil, suppresses weeds, conserves water, regulates root temperatures, and prevents erosion. Take advantage of the FREE mulch the Town offers while supplies last! Mulch is available at our Dry Trash Drop Off and Recycle Center (DTDC) and at Aviation Park. Please help yourself to what you need. The DTDC is located at 701 Bermuda Bay Boulevard. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday. (*Please note the adjusted holiday hours at the DTDC this week, as outlined above.) Aviation Park is located at 103 Veterans Drive. Stop by there anytime!
