Around the Yard Video

Check out the Town’s latest Destination Dare video,  Around the Yard, which highlights the benefits of mulch and the free mulch program offered by the Town. Care and maintenance of Live Oak trees, the Town's official tree, is also provided. The segment also highlights the importance of using local plants and shrubs.

A graphic providing information on the Town's free mulch program. Free Mulch Available! In addition to looking nice, there are many benefits to using mulch in your garden. Mulch nourishes the soil, suppresses weeds, conserves water, regulates root temperatures, and prevents erosion. Take advantage of the FREE mulch the Town offers while supplies last! Mulch is available at our Dry Trash Drop Off and Recycle Center (DTDC) and at Aviation Park. Please help yourself to what you need. The DTDC is located at 701 Bermuda Bay Boulevard. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Aviation Park is located at 103 Veterans Drive. Stop by there anytime!
