First Flight Rotary to Dedicate Memorial Bench at Hayman Park

The First Flight Rotary Club of Kill Devil Hills will be holding a ceremony on Monday, May 31, 2021, Memorial Day, at 11:00 a.m. at Hayman Park in Kill Devil Hills to honor the club’s late President-elect Mark J. Cutler, who died from a drowning accident off the coast of Duck, NC on July 10, 2020.

The ceremony will consist of Kill Devil Hills Mayor Ben Sproul, town officials, First Flight Rotary Club members, family, and friends gathering to dedicate a memorial bench to honor Mr. Culter. The memorial bench was funded by private donations to the Rotary Club and it will be placed in Hayman Park by the Kill Devil Hills Grounds Division.

ATM

The ATM at 1634 N. Croatan Highway (by the KDH Fire Department and close to the Dare Centre) has temporarily been removed due to the pending parking lot construction for Meekins Field. Once the town receives plans from the North Carolina Federal Credit on when it may be put back, we will share those.
