PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
** PLANNED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE **
S. MEMORIAL BOULEVARD
Wednesday, March 3, 2021

The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary road closure beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March, 3, 2021 for S. Memorial Boulevard at the north side of its intersection with E. Martin Street, for drainage and roadway improvements.

Through traffic on S. Memorial Blvd. will be prohibited during this work. Local traffic may use Calvin Street, Wrightsville Blvd. and E. Atlantic Street to detour around the closure. S. Memorial Blvd., up to the closure, will remain open for access to adjacent businesses.

The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, 2021.

Town of Kill Devil Hills Notice of Public Hearings Update

Spring Bulk Trash Collection

The Public Services Department will begin collection of APPROVED bulk trash

collection items from IMPROVED properties within the Town of Kill Devil Hills on

Monday, April 19, 2021.

APPROVED items for collection may be placed in the street right-of way
not sooner than Sunday, April 4, 2021
and
not later than Sunday, April 18, 2021.
