The Town of Kill Devil Hills continues to monitor COVID-19. The Town has been involved in regular communication with the Dare County Department of Health and Human Services, who is working with the State of North Carolina, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization to gain accurate and timely information on the COVID-19.
In an effort to prevent the spread of germs and to promote good health, please practice the following:
Wash your hands with soap and water for 20+ seconds each time.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash, and wash your hands.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
Follow public health advice regarding closures, avoiding crowds and other social distancing measures.
