Fleet Maintenance Division

 

The Fleet Maintenance Division provides or arranges repairs for all in-house vehicles and also maintains an auto and truck parts inventory.  Fleet Maintenance is a division of the Finance Department.

Mission

To provide efficient and effective service for the Town's fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Objectives

·         Enhance preventive maintenance program for vehicles and equipment to increase their longevity

·         Provide departments with accurate and timely information on vehicle and equipment maintenance

·         To return vehicles and equipment back to departments in a timely manner

·         Manage a balance between in-house and contracted repairs

  • Tire replacements/repairs/rotations and balancing
  • Transmission services
  • Air conditioning services
  • Major and minor engine repairs
  • Hydraulic
  • Electrical and welding repairs for heavy equipment

   

The division out-sources repairs as necessary.
