An official Town of Kill Devil Hills employment application is accepted for current position listings only.  No applications shall be accepted by a temporary agency or a Town department; all referrals must be made through the Assistant Town Manager (Human Resources Officer).

A Town of Kill Devil Hills Employment Application must be completed and received in the Administration Department by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date to be considered for the current vacancy.  Photocopies and fax copies of the application are acceptable if received by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date.  Our fax number is 252-441-7946.  NOTE: If an application is faxed, the completed application with an original signature should also be postmarked by, or hand-delivered by, the day after the closing date.

If an application was completed for an earlier vacancy, that application may be reactivated for the current opening only upon written request from the applicant.

·       All applications become the property of the Town of Kill Devil Hills and cannot be returned.

·       Incomplete applications, i.e., unsigned applications or applications without a position title, will not be considered.

·       The Assistant Town Manager will provide notification by mail to applicants when the position is filled.  This process may span several weeks from the advertised closing date.
