Other Duties and Responsibilities

As stated above, one of the responsibilities of municipal managers in North Carolina is acting as their city's budget officer.  Through analyzation and careful consideration of departmental requests, the Town Manager crafts a recommended budget that best meets the needs of the Town based on guidance provided by the Board of Commissioners on each fiscal year’s goals and objectives.
